Hello, I am trying to find information on these programs and how to rank them. I looked online but the information is very limited. Even from the interviews, the information is limited and they seem similar to each other so just wondering if anyone has experience or information from any of these programs. Thanks!
1. Kings County
2. Bronx VA
3. Mt. Sinai
4. Maimonides
5. Montefiore
6. New York Presbyterian Brooklyn

I heard Kings County offers good OS experience, but I think the program is pretty comprehensive, so you get a little bit of everything. They let you do anything as long as you’ve done your own research, but they don’t really have didactic classes. Endo attending only comes once a week. Patients need to pay for implants and crowns together, which may decreases the number of implant patients. They don’t like to invest in digital dentistry. You don’t get an assistant all the time. The clinic is pretty small and old. Hospital location isn’t good. Mostly Medicaid patients, which is common in all the NYC programs. A very busy program. In-house on-call.

Thanks for the information! would you still think it's a good option to go to or better to go elsewhere?

I don’t know much about other programs, so I can’t tell. I heard Mt. Sinai is good, but I don’t know anything more than that. In general, VA programs are good because patients don’t need to pay for treatments.
