Yeah me too! 😕 My interviews went really well!?! And my numbers are far above their averages. I guess maybe they thought I wouldn't attend if accepted? Whatever... it still stings like hell. 🙁

congrats to those accepted!! And those who are waitlisted, have no fear, there is generally a good amount of waitlist movement. Additionally, if you are waitlisted and you know that Wake is your #1 choice, write a letter and tell Irene and the admissions folks that. They are VERY VERY receptive to people who show interest. As a result, our class is chockful of people who love Wake and want to be here.

I was going to write a formal business letter and enclose a check for the deposit amount. If you are some distance away you might want to send it first class with a tracking number that way you will know where it is on it's journay to WFU. Isn't this GREAT!

Wake Forest is still my first choice.


Would it be a completely lousy idea to email one of my interviewers, who I had explained to that WF was my first choice, and tell him that I had been waitlisted and that I wanted HIS advice as to what I could do to improve my chances off the waitlist?

Congrats to all those who have been accepted to WFUSM class of 2008. I too agree that it is a great program and am happy to answer any questions you have. Like so many of my classmates, I was accepted off the waitlist. Also, I took my basic biology series at a community college, so I can vouch that they do accept those credits. I'm keeping my eye on Wake Forest. My daughter has an interview coming up so, I'm hoping there will be a spot left for her. Wake Forest so far has really been on the ball and she hasn't interviewed there yet. Their admissions process has really been prompt and so accommodating.
