Mine is at 8am and they told me I would be done by 10am.
Ive heard (from 3 people lol) that the chances of getting into mercy are high for those with pre-dec interviews any truth to this?
For people that have got interviews at Detroit Mercy, does your letter say who you are interviewing with?
I'm trying to book a flight now, but i haven't received the letter which probably shows the interview day timeline/schedule. Does anyone know what time the program starts and ends? If I book a flight to leave detroit metropoiltan airport at 7:40pm is it too early/late/ok?
For those of you who interviewed at Detroit Mercy so far, how was your experience?
I'll let you know on Thursday! But from what I've heard most of the professors there are really laid back, so the interview should be pretty relaxed.

Yeah I had my interview last thursday. It was awesome. I hope I get into this school. Good luck!
What kinds of questions do they ask, just the generic stuff? Noone has added any to the interview feedback page since 2010.
Dentaljedi, I know you had interviews at many schools. How did you see Detroit Mercy in comparison to other schools you interviewed at?
UDM was awesome. The clinic is amazing and all the facilities are in pristine condition. They even have an entire floor just for student recreation. The only school I've seen as nice as UDM is Midwestern AZ, but UDM is much cheaper. Out of all the schools I've been to I would have to say UDM is my top choice.
My only concern is all the specialty programs they have, and that they might take interesting cases away from D3 and D4s. But UDM grads have a very good reputation for clinical skills so they must be getting enough, especially with the huge volume of patients. The people there were all great too.
Detroit as a whole is a great city. Some areas are definitely not very nice though (such as the place UDM is). But there are a lot of nice areas surrounding the school, I think most students do that. This was my first interview though so I've already been waiting a month to hear from them, I'm getting very antsy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I loved the school too. Just don't like the area. But you can't have everything. I hope we hear some good news on Dec 1.![]()
But I'm curious now, why does your profile say psychologist? Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I loved the school too. Just don't like the area. But you can't have everything. I hope we hear some good news on Dec 1.![]()
