HI,

I'd appreciate if anyone can share any impt. details from their pitt interview that would ease (no parking tips, I'm not driving) or help the interview process.
Thanks!

the pitt interview is very laid back. The faculty comes and talks to you then you have lunch with the students. There is a student panel where 4 or 5 current pitt students come in and answer questions while the faculty waits outside. In the interview, they just want you to be yourself. They might ask a few questions from your application but otherwise they just want you to be able to hold a conversation. There is a short essay but it is nothing to worry about. Its a different topic every week but nothing you need to prepare for. You only get 15 minutes to write it so it can be short.

ditto to the above; don't sweat the essay or the interview. they just want to put the personality with the paperwork.
oh, and enjoy that brunch! it was the best of the 5 interviews i had.

Bring an umbrella. It rains like 75% of the time in Pittsburgh and I forgot my umbrella. 🙁 Other than that, it was laid back and not stressful.

Make sure you have enough to eat at the Brunch, because you won't get out until almost 230 after that, and you'll be hungry haha:meanie:
this is true! also, grab a juice on your way out.

Good luck 😀

It was really just walking around the building, I didn't find it any more walking than at any other interview. But it's always a good idea to have comfortable shoes!
