Some of the MD schools I've sent secondaries to have a little note saying something like "If you qualified for the fee waiver, the fee will be reimbursed to your credit card"

So I'd guess you just have to submit it and either notify them or wait for them to give you the money back.

unfortunately, it doesn't say that anywhere. On the pay now page, it says the money is NON- REFUNDABLE. I've submitted the application, I guess I can't only call them tomorrow and see if I had to send it by snail mail.

Does anyone know how this works generally? I received the fee waiver, and all but a couple of the schools I am applying to say they will waive the secondary fee if you qualified.

I have found that if you contact the school, they will refund you your secondary fee, even if they state that they do not accept fee waivers in the osteopathic college information book.

OP, when you get a response from LMU, can you post it here? I'm sure there are others interested in what to do as well.

Got a response earlier from the LMU admissions. She said that if you have the fee waiver then you shouldn't be paying any fees. Just make sure that you mark fee waiver in the application and submit.

This is what it states in the original message from the support crew of AACOMAS "Your name will be sent to the osteopathic schools indicating that you met the requirements for an AACOMAS fee waiver and may also qualify for secondary fee waivers as well".

Just make sure that you mark that on the application and its good to go.
1.Ohio Univ. does not have a place to mark, so when I spoke to them about it they said "to print out the message from support and send it off with the rest of the app"
2. LMU- just submit in and call them to make sure they received it
3. Alabama- just submit and pay the $50 and they will refund after 2 weeks.

hope this helps😍
