Any MD -------> DDS/DMD?

I know of many career changes that resulted in pursuing a DDS/DMD degree over previous careers, was wondering if anyone knows or did the change themselves from MD====> DDS.

If you're not happy as an MD, what makes you think you'll be happy as a DDS? Be happy with what you have in this world as it doesn't last long.

someone who started in my class is an MD, he is getting his DDS and going on to OMFS. it is possible, he did a special program that basically condensed the first two years together (he did not have to retake the didactic courses). people have done this, so it is possible. if you do not like where you are it is never too late to start over. if you think that you would like being in the dental profession, i say join the club. do not be deterred by short sighted ohio state people. go blue.

A lot of people would rather keep looking for a fulfilling career rather than just give up after a first failed attempt.
