Hi:
I'm sure all of you have heard about MKSAP for medicine which is basically self directed studying in Q&A format. I was wondering if there is any such thing similar for PM&R. I have been reading the Cuccurullo & Braddom, but I feel like the material is not sticking in my brain. Thank you...

If you need multiple choice questions, try the old SAE exams.

There will never be a real multiple choice question book for PM&R because the board won't allow it.

I second the recommendation of the old AAPM&R SAEs. Get an AAPM&R membership and then download the free (for residents) PDF files from their website.

If you're a resident and a member, they're free.

if anyone's interested i'm trying to convert the old SAE's into powerpoint files for board/sae review studying. it's basically a copy/paste job from the pdf into powerpoint.

i like this format better as you don't have to cover the answer or waste paper and it's easy to pull up a powerpoint on your smartphone for a couple quick study questions here and there or on a computer if you drop them into something like dropbox.

PM me if interested in converting one of the old SAE's into powerpoint.
format is
1. slide - question with answer choices
2. slide - answer with discussion

if i remember correctly - some of the newer SAE-R questions are available as an online test - so you can take the test, click on answers, and read the discussion/explanation. i really liked that format better than the pdf files.
