hello mommy,
i am so glad that Ilta answered first🙂 she walked in your shoes(so to say) and everything was ok😉 i know that there are some more mothers out here on the SDN that took nbde1 or 2 being pregnant..i hope they will share their experience...after you adjust to your new status i hope you'll be able to study again...the first trim. can be very rough, but keep up studying and you'll be fine; do as much as you can now because you'll be quite busy afterwards, right Ilta?🙂
i wish you all the best, take good care of you and the baby and i hope we'll hear good news from you👍👍👍
ps regarding your job, maybe you can plan in advance your exam so you'll have enough time to study and work...if you can take some time off would be very good, but it's up to you:luck:

well i have given my part 2 when i was in my 8th month of pregnancy. i have 7 months old son now and i must say you can study and take your exams when you are pregnant. it's not as hard as you think but after baby it becomes really tough...so my advice to you take your all exams by 8th month and you will be tension free to welcome your baby. you can spend good time with your newborn..
if you have any question PM me.
best luck..

hi Rythm,

were you interviewed while you were pregnant???
Do you know if being pregnant can a problem during the interview process??

hi,
well during interiew my baby was 4 months old but i have seen 2-3 pregnant women attending interview so i don't see it might be a problem . you need to prepare answers like who will take care of baby and stuff like that.hope this will help.

Hi everyone,
first let me say Congrats to all who have been accepted and wish best of luck to those waiting ( for getting a call and those wait'g for their bundle of joy.)
Com'g to my predicament, I am an 32(will become 33 this yr) yr young mother of an adorable 2 yr old son(for whom I have found a babysitter whom he loves & this lady takes good care of him.),Now that my son is old enough I want to start my life again, problem is don't know what to do.
1.had an 84 on my part1 which I retook and got an 77😡😡
2.so thought to do my mph and then get into teaching or any organizations ( have 3 yr experi in India in teaching and conduction survey and treatment camps )
3.right now studying for my GRE😱😱
4.Most places the MPH is 2yrs but can finsh it in 18 months, fees for MPH will be about 30-40 K,start'g salary will be 50-60 K and can go up till 160K(from what I found out).
5.Have been recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism.
6.main goal is to do my dds
Good news is Have got my EAD.
Don't know whether to
A.Put my son in day care, get an part time job, retake my part1 and 2 and apply for 2010 and get another baby before I turn 35 and my dear hubby 40.
pro's :a.Do my DDS,Get baby and get to stay with kid for at least 6 months
b.down the lane will not feel like a failure.
Cons: Time lost ???,might not do well again in ndbe, Cash for 2 daycare's:idea::idea:
B.do my MPH,get a baby and forget doing my dds(will be forgoing my dream, may feel bad down the lane{after 20 or 30 yrs})
Looks very appealing in all ways except my dds ( sometimes think life is more than dds?)
one thing is sure would like to have another baby, come what may :laugh:
presently live in chicago,so thinking of going to uic and trying for any job overthere and continue with plan A.
pls guide me and give me ur inputs.
