I've racked up several already, but was wondering if invites will keep coming out for a bit longer. I heard that there's one last surge of invites in January, then silence. But I wanted to check what you guys thought.

I got an II last year in February FWIW. Depends on the schools. It will be slower now, but it's definitely not over yet.
