I was just hoping to get some opinions of MUSC and UNC dental programs from students who are already studying there. Stress levels? Professors? Work load? Clinical experience? Really anything that would help me get a better feel for the school so I can make a decision.
Thanks!

UNC was great. Stress level is mostly a reflection of your personality, not how much work there is to do (i.e. a high stress type A person may well feel overworked with a relatively lax curriculum; a laid-back person won't be bothered by an insane workload...all depends on you). Professors are great, accessable, and I felt they were genuinely interested in helping me learn to be a good dentist. Work load is high anywhere if you are gunning to specialize; not so bad if you are applying the "C's get degrees" or "C=DDS" philosophy. Chapel Hill is a great town, and the local hoops team is pretty good. 🙂
I can't speak at all to MUSC. Have you been accepted to both places? If not, simply applying may make that decision for you.
