I've received an email from Nate Kasper, too, but only saying that they have received my application to PPID.
I don't know if they will give me a call for an interview or send me an invitation letter for it.
Who knows? I'm waiting for it impatiently.

Hello! I am new in this, but I wanna let you know that I did hear from UCLA today. They invited me for an Interview the 17th of October. I also got a letter today from UCSF, also for an Inteview.
Hope you hear from them soon!!!!!

Hi , I got a call today too, I am having the interview the 17th at 2:00pm. I am kind of afraid, I don't know what the written test is gonna be about??? you have ANY IDEA?????I also don't know what to study or anything. PLs let me know If you have any info.

From Sunday, November 13 through Thursday, November 17, 2005, and also say to confirm no later than October 18

Hello guys,

COngrats on getting an interview call

Do a search on the all the threads that have been posted about UCLA last year around this time, which will give you the answers to all the queries that you have in your mind right now.

Me and many others have posted in detail about their interview experiences. Pls don't ask me now as I don't remember everything. Best option for you guys will be to do a detail search on my previous postings and also the threads about UCLA.

ANd for the writtern exam don't stress your self too much as It's going to be tough anyways
Just read the part 2 subjects as we did and you should be fine.

I did a search and I find out about my ucla dental experience. Good I wrote about it on the same day or else by this time I don't remeber much 😛

So moral of the story is DO A SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND OUT THE ANSWERS FOR ALL YOUR QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR MIND.

SDN is a great forum with out which I wouldn't be the same. 👍

Do you think I have any chance to be called for the interview? I'm anxious about my scores. They are not very good. I think so, but I am not be able to ratake the tests as I have a baby.
I'm applying to 3 schools: USC, UCSF and UCLA. No school calls me yet.

I had a compressor set up with me and also the hand piece and hand instruments. Practicng for the practical exam is crucial. Selections will be made mainlly on how well u did the preparations. Next is which how well you did in writtern and personal interview.

Hope all of you did great in the UCLA tests. It will really nice if some of you take some time out and post your practical exam and interview experiences, so that it will help other students next year.

Im sure all of you benefited from students like dentaldoc who had posted his/ her experiences after the test, it will be great if your batch could do the same for the next batch!

For practical exam this year they asked for PMF on the upper front tooth, MO amalgam prep on the lower first molar and MOD onlay prep on the upper first molar. They give three hours to do that.
Interview was OK, four people interviewing. Mostly aks questions about the work you have done. My interview was short, about 20 min, but I heard other people were in there for 40 min.
They called 36 people for the interview adn they accept 12.
