I’m a non-traditional application who is taking a gap year to work and focus on the MCAT before I apply to schools next cycle.

Anyone else in the same boat and wants to share study schedules or advice on how they manage their time?

Feel free to message me and share how you’re keeping motivated. Would appreciate to hear how other people handle studying and working a job at the same time.

Thread moved to the MCAT forums.

One good free resource is Study Schedule which allows you to select your materials, test date and how many hours you can commit each week. It will then prepare a schedule for you.

I had each day planned out and made sure to prioritize what was more important and did that first. For example:

Content
10 practice UWorld quest
120 anki flashcards
Drawing practice (AA, ETC, monosacchrides)

I recommend:

Shemmassian- content
Khan Academy- video
Jack Westin- CARS practice
UWorld- practice questions for all other subjects

I studied full-time, and increased my score 10 points. Its still not that competitive but I've had 3 interviews this cycle vs 0 last cycle.
