Any November University of Michigan Acceptances?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yes, people are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the process.

How bout the waitlist......any ideas on when they might start pulling people from it??

Michigan does not make accepted applicants put down a deposit until May 15, so I bet alot of those people may not withdraw from the school till then....so waitlist movement may not occur for awhile. This is just speculation though.

I don't know if anyone has gotten an acceptance this month to U of M. I did hear that the admissions committee meets once every 4-6 weeks to look over all waitlisted people.

The process is rolling but I think that they may look at all the November interviews and waitlisted people together before the end of the month. However, that's just speculation also.

interviewed there a week and half ago. I found out I've been waitlisted. Won't be able to find where I am on the waitlist until April. I do know they have a fairly active waitlist.

i too am anxiously awaiting movement on the umich waitlist-- however, im pretty sure we shouldnt expect anything until they have finished up with all their interviews this spring...

I will interview next week. I hope to be accepted, but doesn't everyone.
How long did you guys have to wait to find out your fate. I have heard that U of Mich. puts in on the web within 3 days. True?

from what i understand it can really vary. sometimes they can accept you a couple of days after an interview; other times it can be weeks. the student presenters said u mich has a super-active waitlist though, meaning you really do have a high chance of getting in (if you want it) if you're on the waitlist. as for me, i interviewed 10/17 and found out about my acceptance on 10/19.

I interviewed last year on November 1st and found out three weeks later that I was accepted (they sent me an email that day and then I got a letter)
