Does anyone know of any oral surgery programs that have lost a first year resident this year???

I doubt any programs are trying to fill any spots since there are only 2 months left until a new batch of residents comes in. Then what will you do on July 1st when they have no place for you?

Try contacting Buffalo. Heard through the grapevine there may be a second year position open (starting July). It's a six year program though, don't know if that makes a difference for you.

How can someone come into a program in the middle?? Don't they miss out on key points during the first years? How does this fly? 😕

Anyone have insider info on these open spots? did the residents get the boot salute? did they just get sick of Oral surgery? Switch to a MD residency? Goto another schoool?? WHY OH WHY
