Any opinion on Worcester State University Post-bacc?

Dear EETTOMD:

I haven't taken any courses at Worcester State. However, from my recent, though brief, interaction with the program through its administrative staff, it seems problematic on two fronts.

First, no financial aid is offered to participants. According to its chairperson, it is a certificate program --not a matriculated one. Because of this, participants are not eligible for aid and are therefore responsible for securing their own funding.

Secondly, the program's classes are only offered at night. Though this might be a great option for a working professional, for full-time students, this might present a host of problems in the areas of class selection and availability.

I hope this helps!

I didn't complete the post-bac problem as I opted for a second bachelor's, which I completed in two years. As previously mentioned there isn't financial aid offered in the program, thus I decided to declare a second degree just in case I needed financial aid ( didn't need it though). With regards to class, I don't believe post-bac students are restricted just to night classes although it seems to work out that way for most people. As for me, I worked fulltime and took a mixture of both day and night classes depending on the semester. Overall, I liked my experience at the school. PM if you have any questions. Best regards!!
