If a secondary prompt asks you about any additional information that would pertain to your candidacy for medical school, do they mean excluding the MCAT, grades, and ECs listed on your app? Can you add a life story or a difficulty you overcame? How does one go about answering this?

It really depends. Grades and MCAT are not always excluded, depending upon the situation involving grades and MCAT and the wording of the question. Whether or not you should talk about life stories and difficulties you've overcome depends on what kind of life story/difficulty we're talking about and how the question is worded. Could you be more specific?

Is there anything about you that your primary or secondary couldn't convey? Discuss that. When I had these questions, I never thought there was one *right* way to answer them.

C'mon jamba, it's not that difficult a prompt.
