Alright, so I am putting my school list together and am just looking for any suggestions for where to apply. A little bit of background first:
-3.4 oGPA, 3.19 sGPA, 3.22 BCP
-MD Resident
-Strong upward trend
- Shadowed a Dentist, Oral Surgeon, Orthodontist
-Good EC's
- Took the DAT 3 times
First 2 Times: 17AA, 3rd Time: 20 AA, 21 TS
-Dentists in the family
So far I have applied to:
Maryland
Temple
Buffalo
LECOM
NOVA
Midwestern-IL
Indiana
Kentucky
Tufts
New England
NYU
VCU
Marquette
WVU
I am a reapplicant, graduating in 2013. Since graduation, I have been working in a hospital working with the sterilization of equipment, trying to show that I am committed to healthcare. I really do not want to go through this process and am looking for some suggestions of any other schools where I can score an interview. I am worried that I will be overlooked becasue I took the DAT three times, so if anyone has some ideas please share!
