Any point in going to one second look but not the other?

Hello! I’m deciding between two schools but likely will not be able to attend one of their second looks. My question is, do you think it’s useful to go to the other second look? Has anyone done this in the past and felt like it clarified their decision/ still provided useful info?

My concern is that going would just confuse my decision. I would probably have a good time, but then would never be able to actually say if I would have liked the other school more had I attended. On the other hand, if I’m available for one, it’s seems silly not to go to it. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Are you trying to be fair to the schools, or to yourself? If it were me, I'd take every opportunity to gather as much information as I could before making a decision that could very well determine the trajectory of the rest of your life. Just my 2 cents!!

+1 this. But at the same time, be aware of the fact you'll likely be more biased for the school you do revisit when making the final decision.

Go with your gut as to which school you think is best. Attend the second look for that school. If you enjoy yourself and it seems like a good fit, attend that school and never look back. If all is not as you had hoped, factor that information into your decision.

Unfortunately, I think the one that my initial gut feeling has me leaning towards is the one that I won’t be able to attend (these are not on the same weekend, I just have another conflict). Thank you though, appreciate the input from everyone so far!
