Any Purdue Students?

To be honest, it doesn't matter where you go. The NAPLEX is the great equalizer! Go where ever YOU want to go, after all you will be spending the majority of the next 6 years of your life there. I wouldn't worry too much about cost; you can always take out students loans. I'd rather be in debt than go to a school I don't like.

So I just went on my campus tour today. The tour guide didn't really show us a lot of the school, I was hoping to see the Rec center or the dorms, but no.

So I am not sure what to do.
Cincinnati or Purdue. Purdue or Cincinnati.
I know Cincinnati will be a lot cheaper.
But Purdue is more challenging, I think.
Yeah.. I don't know what to do, which one to pick. =(
I just want to go to the one that will get me into a pharmacy school! Haha.

Thanks. I actually have a question about the pre-reqs... after pre-pharmacy, I want to enroll to both schools, and I'm still pretty course-illiterate, if that makes sense, are UC's and Purdue's pre-req pretty much the same or are there major differences? If so, what can I do to be eligible to apply to both school after 2 or maybe 3 years of pre-pharm?

It looks like that you will need to take an extra physics and stat class for UC. Purdue you only need 1 physics and 0 stat. But to even it out, you need 2 anatomy at PU and 0 at UC... This is just looking at the UC prereqs from the page you provided.

First semseter went pretty well. A's and a few B's. I think my overall GPA was around 3.5? If you end up coming to PU, let me know. I've saved all my old exams/notes.

Save them, I may be making a "college visit" day soon! My cousin is actually there, and I am trying to bribe her into helping me with biology (she's a bio major), and giving me old tests to get an idea as to what I may need to know!!

When I went on my tour last year. I didn't get to do a lot of things I wanted to, but it could have been because it was the end of the year. I got to see the dorms, but I really wanted to sit in on a class. I also wanted to see the chem labs to check out the technology and etc. Some of the colleges I went to check out were sooo behind, it was pretty much pathetic. Anyway, don't feel too disappointed.....I have a feeling no one gets to see much.🙁 I am going on my next tour in either Feb. or Mar. so hopefully it will be much better this time!!!😀
