I have mock oral boards at the end of this month, and then yearly in October until I'm done. I find myself with very little time to go over things in specific preparation for this exam.

Does anybody have suggestions re: possible resources to study for the oral boards? I'm familiar with Osler, which is ridiculously expensive, and obviously not for the "practice" oral exam. I'm not sure if there is an old question bank floating around here, but I don't think that there is.

I would be interested in any study guide or book people have used that they found helpful. Also, any question bank that is available. Thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it.

ps If I had a patient with colon cancer and a AAA, I'd repair them simultaneously with an endograft. if that wasn't an option, I'd treat the symptomatic pathology first..........just getting warmed up........😳

What helped me the most is reading the old test transcipts people have written.

safe answers is good but too comprehensive.

also helpful to do mock orals.. although ideally should be with visiting faculty. its just not he same when you know the person examining you, but it still is helpful.

Have you taken the orals yet?😕
