You still got a shot with a 237. Apply.

That's not a bad score, are you being sarcastic? I'm talking about below the mean but above 200.

Sorry, I didn't read all the posts, 211 and I am planning on taking Step 2 before I apply

There are many residents with "bad" USMLE scores. Remember, getting into residency takes much more than just a good test score. Establishing connections and good letter of recommendation will go alot farther.

i dont think anyone means to be sarcastic, its just how competitive rads is. im very worried with my 232 and im trying to figure out what else i can do to make myself more "attractive" to the PD's

Yah I had a 257 and I was worried if I met the cutoff of MGH which I heard from a friend of a friend's wife was 260. I almost didn't apply and went into family practice instead, but the janitor that was working the hospital floor at night during my MIII surgery rotation thought I would make a good radiologist so decided to apply anyways.

😎

Actually it was my girlfriend's sister who told your friend of a friend's wife that the cutoff was actually 261.....

Yeah... I'd probably go into rural family practice with anything under 260
