are there any schools that are religiously affiliated? is it not worth applying if you are atheist or not that religion?

LUCOM and CUSOM have undergrad programs that are associated with the Baptist church and MUCOM's undergrad program is associated with the Catholic church. Nevertheless, I don't see why an atheist would not be able to apply. Technically these school have no right to discriminate based on religion.

William carey has a baptist affiliation and loma linda is seventh day adventist

I wish that there were a Jesuit osteopathic school. It'd be cura personalis up the yin yang!

This😀

Marian is Catholic (Franciscan) and atheists are welcome.

Loyola and Creighton have Catholic affiliations; the Touro quartet are Orthodox Jewish.

Loma Linda (Seventh Day Adventist) appears to be the only medical school that has some of their religious philosophy incorporated into the way they run the school (for example, they expect their medical students to adhere to an abstinence policy).

Yeah. More or less its a policy that they have on the books, and its more like "don't do it here" or publicize it. If people find out about, it becomes an issue, but they aren't going around looking for it.

As far as it being not worth it applying to religiously affiliated schools as an atheist, that's just ridiculous. I mean unless you are advertising it blatantly, which really, why would you unless it had to do with an EC, how would they even know you are atheist? Plus I'm pretty sure every med school in the US has some atheists and people of varying religions in them. I doubt most schools are weeding out applicants solely based on religious beliefs or lack thereof.
