Any Response From UCSF YET???

I know there are a couple threads on this topic, but I just wanted to see if anyone has heard back from UCFS yet this month. I interviewed there on Jan 27th and am starting to loose hope! I know they had a committee meeting this past Thursday but not phone calls yet. I am really getting worried? Anyone in the same boat? Anyone heard back from and interview later than mine? Any words of advice? Anything.......!!!!!!!!

Hi interviewed the week before you and I have not heard anything nor has my friend who also interviewed with me. Don't get worried. They are probably just waiting to decide on everyone at the end of this interview tier (I think they have 3) which should be soon maybe as early as the end of next week. GL.

Shinji, When did you get the call? today? What time? Was it dR. Alexander who called? I recently interviewed there also and a friend of my from LA and he got a call tuesday morning also. I'm starting to lose hope

Dr. Alexander called me around 11 this morning. I heard that the decision of acceptance is decided by voting within the committee and admission staff will double-check corresponding applicants' records (GPA, Prereq, etc) before notifying them for acceptance offers. It may take a little longer time for them to verify the records so hang in there guys. Good luck.

check your home answering machine, you might have gotten a message there. even though all my dental school contact info were under my cellphone, Dr. A. called my home phone and left a message there. I know this happened to a couple other people.

UCSF ended up cancelling the 3/2 interview. 2/27 was the last interview. I'm dying to hear back from them!

I'm curious how long the alternate or waiting list is for UCSF. Because from reading all the posts regarding UCSF..I think there are quite a number of interviewees who haven't heard back from them even though they had their interviews a long time ago...say, back in 2005 and January 2006.

Besides, I don't know anyone who got rejected after doing an interview and I know some people didn't hear back from them at all. So it seems like the alternate list is going to be pretty damn long...

so have they already sent out all of their acceptances or what? I know that they had a meeting few weeks ago and called some people back after that. But what about their next meeting? Does anyone know when it will be?

i wouldn't expect anything until close to the end of march. there are still spots open.
