Would it make any sense to retake non-science pre-reqs that I got C's in. The class in question is English Comp 2.
At this point, raising my GPA through post-bac or SMP is futile since I have a lot of credits, so I figured my best bet would be to make sure all of my pre-reqs are B or better.
So I see my options as this:
1. Retake Comp 2 and score well
2. Take a different english class that I haven't taken before and score well
English credits to date:
Comp 1 (AP), Comp 2 (Grade = C), Speech (Grade = A)
Any input is appreciated. Which option would be best?
Also, is it acceptable to contact admissions personnel at schools you want to apply to in order to ask specific questions about the classes you've taken and if they meet their pre-req requirements? I would hate to apply only to find out that they do not accept biochemistry in lieu of part of the organic chemistry requirement. (Or can I count on the MSAR to be accurate in this regard?)
Sorry for so many questions, but I suppose its better than several threads.
