any socal (esp. uci) students here?

i'm interested in doing an elective rotation at uci or any other school/hospital in the socal (preferrably orange county) area. however, i don't want the rotation to be very time-consuming. i was wondering if any of the former/current students at these schools have any recommendations.

i'm basically looking for an easy elective in socal. thanks in advance.

I'm not at uci but I am from a so cal school. If you want your weekends off and no call to enjoy so cal then might I suggest a derm or radiation oncology rotation. The only thing is that these rotations are pretty hot and alot of students who are going to apply to derm or rad onc grab them very early. I'm having a hard time getting one at my own school. But I did notice that there seems to be plenty of spots available after march (post match). So your best bet would be one of these away rotation after the match. Hope that helps.
