any summer research programs still open?

I've been looking for summer research programs lately and apparently the deadlines for the ones I've seen are March 1st.

Are there other summer research programs with deadlines that haven't passed yet? Please pass me this info.

All of the programs that I'm aware of had late feb/early march deadlines.

Yeah if you check the website of the one(s) you're interested in they will let you know.I checked out the website of the one I am interested in for next year and they gave a deadline of early march for this year's applicants.It seems the key is get your app in pretty early! (Altho some programs might make an exception.You should call to make sure they are no longer accepting applications for this year.)

Or if all else fails, contact professors at your school, or at a school you're interested in to see if you could assist them with research, or have them advise you in your own research. Write up a proposal, and beg a little.

vixenell I didn't even think about the idea of asking a prof to help me with independent research.If all else fails (for next year) I will be following your advice.Good idea!🙂
