When just studying or reviewing for M and M, I always find myself lacking a good reference for discussion of complications. I love Sabiston and Cameron for acquisition of general surgical knowledge, but they don't spend almost any time discussing these things.
Usually I'm able to find what I'm looking for, but it takes forever, and I was wondering if anyone had a specific book or website reference that they use where this knowledge is concentrated, and can be a quick read for me prior to M and M presentations.
I have my own anecdotal knowledge, based on experience and the instruction of my attendings and senior residents, regarding things like enterotomies, anastomotic leaks, bleeding fistulas, etc, but I'd love to have something that is evidence based to reference when I have questions......
Thanks.
