I know you have to have a Bachelors degree, good grades, and health care experience. Is there an undergraduate degree that would be better than others? I've heard isn't doesn't matter as long as you have the prerequisites. Also, is phlebotomy good healthcare experience? Are some PA schools easier to get into than others?

The PA schools with lower requirements are inundated with applications to the point that it negates the slightly lower standards... And the standards are still pretty high.

That forum is a good resource. Every school has different kinds of candidates they are looking for, but the best thing you can do for yourself is get good grades. Nothing makes up for that, and grades are the most expensive and time consuming aspect of getting into PA school. You can major in pretty much anything you want as long as you take the prereqs. And make sure you get good grades. Grades. Grades.

Grades.
