I am really bad with key holes for some reason..

I feel like a lot of the choices that I chose do work, it's just not the right answer.

Can anybody give some tips on how to do well on the key holes?

Thank you Keyhole gurus! 🙂

What I normally did for this section is... Look at all the answer choices one by one, spend about 10-15 seconds on each one (usually it will take you alot less when you get good at it) and simply rotate the object in 3-D (in your head) to see if you can get it to pass through the first answer choice.... if you don't think its possible, move on to the 2nd choice and do it again.

Are you using Crack DAT PAT ?

For key holes... its simple. most likely its never the obvious answer... so just dont rush into picking an obvious answer... check the edges, Rotate it in your head. If you are unable to do that look at ans choices and then try to rotate your key in your head. and make sure its the same height etc...

Examine each image choice individually and find WHY it is wrong. I never approached it from a "which is right" perspective, but from a "these are wrong because X" perspective. Once you decide an answer is wrong, erase it from your mind and move on. You have to be fast with only 40 seconds a question, but if you can spend 10 seconds on each choice, you'll get there eventually.

On a side note, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use relativities. Compare side lengths and angles when looking. It's the same thing you will use in dental school with your explorer/probe to measure lengths and judge distances. How does one side compare to this other side? How does my explorer tip compare from this angle, or from another angle? Once you can compare apples to apples, that is, one part of the image to another, you will be golden. This also works very well on Top Front End (TFE)

Very true.

Another note, try to see which angle each choice is "trying" to get it to fit from. That way, you can quickly identify which portion of the answer is NOT correct and eliminate it.
