Any TX schools do group interviews?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I can only tell you that Baylor does not. I did a group interview at Emory. It was kind of odd after you get used to one-on-one interviews.

Dang it I didn't know UTSW did group interviews. Bummer.

None of the Texas schools do group interviews. 🙂

Yeah...heard it from a friend who did a group interview there. She ended up going to another TX school. Apparently, the group interview turned into a battle of who had the best research. She didn't have any research, but had other outstanding ECs. Ultimately she wasn't too happy with the school or the interview.

Bwahahaha I've been looking for a new house on craigslist and I've been running into these battles of "who would the cooler roommate," which is pretty awkward. I can't imagine how much worse it would be for med school.

I've never heard of schools doing group interviews, but it seems rather inappropriate for med school admissions and it would undoubtedly be a huge turn-off to applicants to see that the school can't even give them a private interview...

None of the Texas schools do group interviews, and definitely not Southwestern. I really doubt your friend ever interviewed there.
