Any U.S. Citizens out there?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I was wondering how many people applying to international dental programs are U.S. citizens. Do citizens get preference?
Not that I know of. But you will be able to apply to more schools (eg- UIC), schools that don't accept students on a visa. And of course getting federal aid.

I am a US citizen, I am applying for prosthodontics and AEGD program at U of ROchester, and I got both interview. I don't think being a US citizen makes any difference, except at UIC like the other fellow said, you can't apply for IDP unless you are a permanent resident or a citizen.

The advantage of being a PR or Citizen, you can apply for federal loan
