Any UCI med students have info on the large number of strong medical school applicants being put 'on hold' by UCI's adcom? Some people who have gotten invites to UCSF have been given the 'on hold' shaft from UCI. What's going and when are these 'on hold' people going to be reviewed?

UCI doesn't care as much about numbers as you would think. If you're on hold and you think your numbers are strong, I would urge you to look elsewhere for the answer, perhaps at your ECs, LsOR, or PS. Just a thought.

When where you complete? It could also be that the office is backed up and any status change is better than no status change.
