Any UCLA dents using Mac lap top?

Just wondering if there are any current UCLA dental students using a Mac for their required lap top? Any one with the new Pentium processor and virtual PC?

If you are using an older mac or the new mac, what problems (if any) have you encountered?

I really want to get a mac...but I don't want to be screwed because particular dental programs don't run on it...

i really hope to get a mac...I have shared my boyfriends for the past 2 years and i love it...

UCLA requires Intel Pentium processor and Windows operating system (among other things)...so i am not too sure if a mac will do...but based on your message about the dual boot it seems that it might work. thanks again for the info

The new Intel Macs are the way to go--you can run Winblows and OS X without any problems.
