Hi all,
I graduated from UP Dil in 2001. I came to the US, did my Master's, and started my own premed post-bacc program. I plan to take the MCAT and apply to med schools in '07. Anyone on/was on the same boat as I am?
My question is: Does anyone know if AMCAS converts our GPA's from PI (or any foreign country, for those SDN-er's from Asia)? My GPA was 1.75 with 1.0 being the highest. Though I graduated cum laude, i think it might convert to a 3.3 here, but I'm not sure. I had my transcript evaluated here but my grades weren't converted.
Also, anyone know if ADCOMs consider undergrad courses from UP? When my transcript was evaluated, it said that my degree is equivalent to that of any US accredited university.
I'm just worried 'cause my post-bacc GPA is really good and I'm hoping that my undergrad grades don't pull it down.
