Any vertically challenged premeds?

I'm 5'1"

I stopped growing back in 6th grade or something...
 
I shadowed a cardiovascular surgeon who needed a stool (i am not sure if this is the right spelling) to step on to do surgery. He was the nicest physician I have ever met who went a step further in terms of politeness.
 
I know I wouldn't want a short doctor.
 
6'5". Hard for me to fit in some places...
 
my pediatrician was a 5' 6" Caucasian male. was I was a kid, he told me that i'd surpass his height some day. i had such high hopes! now i'm still 1/2 an inch shorter.
 
I'm 4'10.5". And I still wear flats with a suit. I think it doesn't matter much, but I'm a girl, too.

My dad is 5'1". I think he makes up for it by wearing a heavy-ish beard to look bigger?

Don't worry, being short as a chick is more than fine. It's kind of a turn on, at least to me (I'm 6'2" and am not into taller chicks).👍

white guys are too damn tall. whenever i go to the bathroom at a cubs game im surrounded by a horde of 6-5 white guys, so i can never see an empty spot by the troughs. by the way the majority of cubs fans are white suburbanite yuppies, or at least the ones who go to the games, with them outnumbering minority fans at least 5 to 1, maybe just slightly better than red sox fans.

well im 5-9 so im not debilitatingly short, but youre right, ive never caught a foul ball or even got close to one, after going to about 25 games in my lifetime. i cant afford the nice tickets at wrigley, several of which are bought by private ticket vendors, some that are owned by the cubs themselves, just so that they can price-gauge even further. yeah i dont know why im still a fan.

Bob Kelso on Scrubs is short and he is the chief of Medicine. Short guys get top executive positions and are power hungry lunatics. Guys once we get that rich its our wallet size that matters not our height. Muahahhaha I can't wait to be a short, controlling, power driven LUNE......😀😀

im 6'1.5". i was 2 guard in college. so in that case, i was short.

i can't date anything under 5'5. creeps me out. its like having my very own personal oompa loompa. no offense shorties.

for the record, there was a philipino kid in hs that was dunking at 5'8". Im talking dunking in lane during games. Not during practice when he was juiced. Kid got up.

for girls, if you want to do couture modeling, you must be at least 5"8 (if you're 14-15, if youre 16 and up, you must be taller than that.) they've been changing standards, they now think 5"8 is too short to be a model. (exceptions of course the older much huge ones like kate moss).

for men (couture), you must be at least 6"0 tall.

I'm a homonculus (except that I'm a girl.) Barely 5'2". The good thing about being short is...there is no good thing.
 
it's a good thing this thread is almost a year old.
 
6"2', maybe taller. Haven't had my height measured in a while. I notice that there are a lot of short pre-meds.

Must be due to poor nutrition, high caffeine consumption, and lack of sleep.
 
6'4" here and it is not always a blessing, airport seats, lecture hall seating etc is generally not designed for people with long legs!😡
