Hi hopingstar. Just wondering - Did you get excepted to the pharmacy school off the wait list? If so, when and how were you notified. I'm a senior in high school, interviewed on 12/15 and got a letter stating I'm waitlisted. You are looking to get in as a transfer student though, right?

I already got acceptance as a transfer student, I am in P1 now ( second semester).
I knew that I got accepted in to Pharmacy school right one week after my interview day (12-15-2006)
I am looking for friends who are Vietnamese.
Does anyone want to make friend with me?

I'm just curious cause you have to be the most racially insenstive poster I have ever read on SDN

Sorry to butt in but.. How is it "racially insensitive"? I thought the person was only wondering if there's any other vietnamese in Findlay. It's just human nature to stick w/ those people who they have more in commons.

Racism does exist. Race preference is human nature. I'm not here to defend other racist threads. However, as a minority, I understand the need to seek out someone w/ the same subculture who understand your inside jokes that can only be funny using your own native tongues.

Besides, there are many posts asking if there are any African-Americans/Africans in such and such. I don't think there is anything wrong w/ such posts.

What is wrong with my post?
I am a vietnamese, and I have been in US for two years.
I don't have any Vietnamese friend in FL and I just want to have some vietnamese friends. Is it problem if you are American and studying in Japan, and you ask if any American student who is studying in your school
