any waitlist movement yet?

It might be a little early for this but I'd like to know if anyone has gotten an acceptance after being waitlisted. I'm on the "acceptance range" at Tulane and right now that seems to be my only shot of getting into a med school this year.

I have not heard back anything either... I have been waitlisted for two weeks only within "the acceptance range" hopefully... Anyone else?

I'm on two waitlists since nov/dec and no word yet. I was under the assumption that waitlists didn't start to move until march-ish, but the majority of the movement occurs after May 15.

Hi. I was waitlisted at Albany late november and then got an acceptance letter last week. I can't say if other schools lists are moving though.

write letters if you are on the waitlist people. As for movement, I think the earliest you would get is about march for some schools, and late May for most schools.

I don't think so... I think there are better parts in our applications to be looked at... you know?

waitlisted at Pritzker but no word yet. Planning to withdraw if accepted to Northwestern.

if you are waitlisted...i think they would. how else would they know you would love to attend their institution?

hey.....no, I didn't write anything or send in any additional materials...they just emailed me and let me know that I had been accepted...I remember them saying at the interview day that you are assigned a score after review of your file...I guess in november my score wasn't good enough to be accepted but maybe in January I got bumped up the list....don't know for sure though
