Anybody else get an email from Tulane University about the Master of Biomedical Science program?

I was rejected from Tulane last month, but just today I received an email from one of the program directors of the Master of Biomedical Science program there that they received my name from the office of admission at TUSOM.

Did every rejected applicant get this email?

I got the email. I actually was not rejected, but probably would have been if I hadn't withdrawn my application after I got into my top choice.

No need to take offense to it. I received a II from a school, turned it down, and still get constant emails about their SMP and PA program. They just automatically send them

I did one of the Tulane MBS programs, got the highest GPA in my program, and was quickly rejected from Tulane (even though I had a lot of the things Tulane claims to value like Americorps, high MCAT, etc). Everyone I keep in touch with from my MBS program was rejected as well. They still had the gall to send me this email, so I'm assuming if they don't even screen for applicants who have already completed one of these programs they send it to everyone. Granted, I will be attending an MD school next year so it did help my application, but in my experience if you're really hoping to go to Tulane these programs don't make a difference.

Ugh. That's dirty.

You can usually find an "unsubscribe" button on the email. It's how I no longer get emails from podiatry schools.
