To Whom It May Concern:​

We have received your American Association of Dental Schools Application Service (AADSAS) application for the 2011 entering class. Unfortunately, Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry has an application deadline of October 1, 2010 for the entering class of 2011. If you are planning to reapply to Baylor College of Dentistry for the 2012 entering class please use the following information.

This is the beginning of an email I got from Baylor this morning. It goes on to explain the secondary process, but what is up with the "unfortunately..." and "If you are reapplying ... for 2012... use the following information."

Sounds like a mistake. I'd call or email to figure out what's up.

I called them up, and they apparently sent me the wrong email. They meant to send me an email with secondary instructions, and to tell me they mailed me a packet of some sort. I'm quite relieved. I thought I had just gotten my first rejection just 4 days after my mailing date.
