They are very picky but I am sure you'll be fine if you show interest and maybe do a rotation. The geography and weather is not the greatest so they probe into 'why this place? why our program' type of Qs.
If you really want to go there, do a rotation there. It will help overcome the "why here" questions (I got them too in my interview). Nice people, nice facilities, I thought it was a great program and would have been happy there.
Emphasis on OB, but if you don't want to do OB you can easily get out of some of it (as long as you meet the requirements for residency).
As far as competativeness who knows, it varies year to year. They had to scramble for a resident this year.
