Anybody heard from Mayo-Rochester?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Not a word, though perhaps I wish I had--I really enjoyed my visit there and plan to rank them highly.

Yes I did... My interviewer emailed me a couple of weeks after my interview. Didn´t say anything specific but left me with a good impression.
When was your interview there? 👍

Interview was one week ago. I really liked the program. Did the PD interview you?

Yes, also heard. Although, I did email a thank you after the interview and got a response. Also got another email from them a few days ago.
Looks like a great program - I was really impressed.

No, the PD doesn't interview anyone. At least that is what he said to our group on my interview day. 😀 They try to match your interviewer according to your personal interests (i.e.: I am FMG and want to go into cardiology so I interviewed with an Asian cardiologist who has visited my country a few times).

👍

The e-mail was from your interviewer or from the PD? Thanks for your input

From my interviewer.

don't put too much into who emailed back to you or sent you a note. I received a couple of emails from residents before I interviewed, and then didn't hear from anyone afterward. It also turns out that I sent in my thank you note after they had already made their rank list. Anyway, I'm here now, and I suppose that's all that matters.
