hi, i'm prepraring next bench exam in UOP.

so, i need your STAR HIGHSPEED HANDPIECE(stardental co. 430SWL)

my handpiece doesn't fit in UOP, i guess.

can i borrow this your handpiece?(3-4,may:just 2 days!)

i'll give sufficient reward for you.

thanks,

HI
tairony
I believe as long as your handpiece is a 4 hole, it will fit for the exam. My friend took the clinical exam in UOP and she used her Midwest traditional 4 hole highspeed handpiece. SHe didn't seem to have a problem...

just out of curiosity, have you received your confirmation card for the May exam? are you one of those who have applied last year and didn't get in because of space limit? ( those who have priority?) Do you know any other people who apply first time and also get their confirmation?

thanks

hi,

ya, i got the confirm letter last week.

i think i had priority because most of friends of mine and i who were rejected last oct. bench exam were accepted.

but i know the one who are accepted at his first attempt.

take care, bye...

is this "bench exam" regarding the california dental boards?

if so, are you guys telling me that there are a handful of people from UofP who couldn't take the california boards because they were full, and thus had to wait another year to become licensed dentists????

The discussion is about the CA bench exam for foreign trained dentists who will be taking the exam at UOP. It is not in relation to graduates of UOP.

Tairony,
They had handpieces for rent at UOP (at least last year). $60.
Best thing is to call them and check to make sure.
Good luck
