Yes, it can be done. But your friends will tell you afterwards that you "snapped." I went up 30 points from my first NBME form in 2 weeks.

175 on NBME1 last March, 240+ on the real deal in June. The ones you're taking as you get close to your exam (after reviewing) will be most accurate.
