Has anybody used Davis's Drug Guide (aka DrDrugs)? It is a lot cheaper than Lexi, Epocrates, Pepid, and other drug PDA software. I heard that some of the higher priced software might not be so good for learning mechanisms of action, and basic Med year 1 & 2 Pharmacology. Anyway, just interested if any of you guys have tried this.

epocrates is free, it just costs if you want all the bells and whistles

Yes...I use it all the time. I like DrDrugs when I want more info about a particular drug...this program gives a lot more than epocrates. Even how to pronounce it correctly. But I prefer epocrates for dosing...it's written so you can just copy it to a script. I scammed 6 month x 2 subscriptions from drug reps = 1 year free.👍
