Anybody w/ Nova Interview on October 25?

Who else has an interview at Nova on October 25th? What time? Are you guys planning to check out the city/bars/clubs either on the 24th or 25th? I have an interview at 11:45 am. I wanted to check out the city (will be my 1st time in Florida) and was wondering where to go. Any feedback from current Nova students will be helpful. Thanks

I don't go to Nova and I don't have an interview.. but i live in south florida and hang out in ft. lauderdale regularly. I say hit up the HardRock Hotel & Casino, about 5-10 minutes away... cool bars/clubs: Pangea (upscale club), Murphy's Law (cool bar), Tequila Ranch. Downtown ft. laudy (Riverfront/Las Olas) is about 15-20 minutes away, lots of places... Voodoo, Automatic Slims, Dicey Riley's... some of the bars are a pretty gross tho. And you can hit up Eden on the way back to end your night, haha... you'll see it on the west side of University Ave., just north of campus. Any questions... hit me up

Hard Rock Clubs on Seminole are outstanding

Clubs around the riverfront are nice too...Voodoo Lounge was fun.

If you go to either, bring lots of money

I don't like this "bring lots of money"... how are the bars and within these bars how are the women (rating from 1-10) ??

Forget about the bars and the women...how did you get an interview at NOVA?? They don't seem to respond to anyone/thing.

According to other SDNers, they don't seem to respond to respond to emails or phone calls about your status, but it looks like they're quick to give you an interview if they're interested. You probably just have to wait a few more weeks. It probably depends on when AADSAS mailed your app, when you took your DATs, etc... Nova never let me know if they had received my app or DAT scores, but I figured they did since other schools told me they did. My app was mailed on July 17, but they didn't get my DAT scores till Aug 10 b/c I took it on July 31st. Nova did update my status on AADSAS though.

I have mine the 25th too. Not sure if I want to call and see if I can change it though.
