If anybody would like a serious ego boost and do me a big favor at the same time...would anybody who has been admitted to dental school please take a quick look at my crappy personal statement and give me some feedback? The best way to edit your paper is to have friends or professors read/edit your paper. That way you can speak with them in person and get real-time feedback on it.

Does your undergrad school's English department have a writing center. There's nothing more helpful (or degrading) than having your essay critiqued by English majors and Literature PhDs. Seriously, I owe a lot of the success of my personal statement to my school's writing center.

this is very true. use your resources..but you graduated so i think thats out of the question...

Thanks mrxle3, but I graduated in June 2005 and was never involved in the PDS...I only decided this was what I wanted to do after I graduated. My mother-in-law has 3 masters in education from USC so I am having her look at it, as well as the dentist I shadow who used to work on an adcom....i just wanted the opinion of someone who successfully got into D school.
