check out www.mdapplicants.com

you can search specifically for URM students who got accepted/rejected with certain scores. a lot of us have profiles on there. that site also has g.p.a.'s and mcat of non-minority students.

My stats are on my mdapps, link below, so feel free to look, but that's not really why i'm responding. I really want to tell you to remember that it's not just stats, that's not all that got us accepted, and many other things are important. Nursing will give you a lot of clinical experience, which is obviously good, but nursing and being a doctor are very different, so make sure you have a reason as to why you want to become an MD just after finishing nursing school. Also just make sure you have community service/good ECs, or research, and strong letters of recommendation. Remember that you are a whole package and not just some numbers! it can be depressing to think of yourself as a number in this crazy stressful exhausting process.

GPA 3.25
Am still to take the MCAT in april 2008
Am a Registered Nurse as well,
i think just as rightly said, it is the package not the numbers,
keep your head high, once you are really motivated, the sky is your limit.

I'm an Respiratory Therapist and URM. Good luck to all allied heath professionals applying! We know what others don't! Our experiences count for a lot and will favor you no matter what anyone says. Good luck to all!
