Hey everyone,

This is my first thread, I'm so glad I found you guys. This applying stuff is nerve-wracking. Anyway, is anyone applying to the Albany School of Pharmacy in Colchester, VT? I haven't yet but was considering it because I would love to live in Vermont. But, I have read some things on here not so complimentary about ACP. Also, this would be the first year this school in Vermont opens. I was wondering if anyone has actually seen the campus or talked to anyone at the school. If so, your impressions?
Thanks for your help!

I'm currently a third year BSPS @ ACP, equivalent in terms of classes to P1- @ ACP (all the same courses, no pharmacy skills lab). Here's what I understand the VT, campus will be. ACP- in albany campus was told to trim down classes from close to 300 to 200 for the entering P1 year. Out of those 300... I would say 50-70 will not have the GPA to enter professionally into P1. However, from what I understand, ACP will be offering them either go to VT or the boot.

The campus that is opening up (P1-4) will have a skeleton staff for the P1 year since there is no proceeding years. I believe some lectures will be broadcast from the campus from Albany. Should be interesting.

Anyway, if there are any specific questions just PM me and I be happy to answer if I can.
