Anyone applying to DMD or DDS/Ph.D program?

Recently I became quite interested in a dual degree program. I want to be an academic dentist who remains in a dental school while practicing within or outside the school. Is there anyone who shares the same vision or wants to pursue that route of DMD or DDS/Ph.D?

No, but my understanding is that DMD isn't anything academic, its the same as the good old DDS degree. I have been interested in the DDS/MB degree that some schools like UNLV and Temple offer (probably others, dunno).

I think the way I wrote it caused the confusion. I meant to say DMD/Ph.D or DDS/Ph.D
