Anyone applying to DO/PhD?

For those of you applying or have applied to to DO/Phd, what schools are you looking at? Which schools have the best research reputation? I am not sure if i am going to apply to the DO route but I am just doing some research incase i do. I have looked at Michigan State and North Texas. Michigan state has a pretty good grad school I think, but the DO program is expensive 45k for out of staters. Texas, on the other hand is much cheaper, but im not sure about their grad schools reputation. Anyone have any comments or advice for DO/PhD applicants about school tuition and precedence? Thanks
